NEW YORK -- May 30, 1997

Asian America Television looks into the changing Japanese economy and prospects for U.S. businessman seeking to enter this dynamic market. Terril Yue Jones of the Associated Press conducts an exclusive interview with Kazunori Iizuka, President of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in New York. JETRO is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting trade and economic relationships between Japan and other nations. With Mr. Iizuka is Keith W. Rabin, president of KWR International, a research, communications and consulting firm that works with Japanese, Korean and other Asian and international public- and private-sector clients and Lewis I. Cohen, formerly with the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and now president of Si-wel International, a trade consultancy representing U.S. firms seeking to enter the Japanese market.
