(Inchon/Media Valley) ADVISORY/Korean City of Inchon and Media Valley, Inc. to Promote Multi-Billion Dollar Tri-Port Investment and Technology Development Project in New York on July 14-16, 1999

NEW YORK -- June 30, 1999

On July 14-16, a delegation from the Korean City of Inchon and Media Valley, Inc., will be visiting New York City to familiarize U.S. investors and executives with the many investment and business opportunities in high-tech, distribution, real estate, tourism, and manufacturing offered by Inchon City's multi-billion dollar "Tri-Port" infrastructure development project.

The Tri-Port project consists of three integrated components, including Korea's new international airport, an expansion of Inchon's seaport facility and Media Valley, an information and technology teleport center destined to become the "Silicon Valley" of Korea.

Inchon -- the site of General MacArthur's celebrated landing that reversed the course of the Korean War -- is currently the most rapidly growing city in Korea. At present growth rates, it is destined to become Korea's second largest municipality in five years. Situated in the Seoul metropolitan area, the City of Inchon paved the way for the industrialization of South Korea in the 1960s and 1970s. Today, this thriving city is working hard to build the high-tech and information industries Korea will need to remain competitive in the 21st century.

On July 14th, Inchon Metropolitan City will be hosting a traditional Korean dance performance by the Inchon City Dance Group. This performance is dedicated in appreciation of Korean War Veterans and the parents of adopted Korean children and will be sponsored by Daewoo Corporation, The Korea Society and The Korea Times New York. The performance will be held at 8:00 P.M. at Town Hall, located at 123 West 43rd Street in the Times Square district of Manhattan.

On July 15th, Inchon Metropolitan City and Media Valley Inc. will be organizing an investment seminar from 9:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, located at 1535 Broadway (also in the Times Square district of Manhattan). The program will feature presentations on Inchon Metropolitan City and Media Valley. Seminar speakers will include: Choi, Ki Sun, Mayor of Inchon Metropolitan City, Dr. Kim Kihwan, Chairman & CEO, Media Valley, Inc., T.W. Kang, Managing Director, Global Synergy Associates, Dr. Julie Kim, Vice President, Dames & Moore Group, Dr. Scott MacDonald, Chief Economist & Director of Investor Relations, KWR International, Inc., Danny Lam, Director, Fisher-Holstein, Inc., Wilbur L. Ross, Jr., Executive Managing Director, Rothschild, Inc. and Nigel Holloway, Deputy Editor, Forbes Global Business & Finance.

Journalists, executives and investors with an interest in meeting the Inchon/Media Valley delegation or in attending either the dance performance or the investment seminar are asked to contact:
