The Japan
Small Company Investment Conference will provide a forum in which
promising Japanese companies can meet with financial and corporate
investors in order that they might access the capital and business
relationships needed to maximize their potential and profitability.
It will also familiarize participants with a hands-on view of the
many changes in Japan's investment environment as well as the issues
that should be kept in mind when attempting to enter into an investment
transaction with a Japanese firm.
The Japan
Small Company Investment Conference is sponsored by Sonnenschein
Nath & Rosenthal. Media partners include The Asian Wall Street Journal
Weekly Edition, Asia Times Online, Asia Today International, Buyside,
The Daily Deal, J@pan Inc, Japan Technology Alert, KWR International
Advisor and vFinance.com.
"This
conference will familiarize corporate and financial investors with
individual companies that are benefiting from the unprecedented
economic change now occurring in Japan -- the world's second largest
economy," noted Keith W. Rabin, President of KWR International,
Inc. "In addition to a full day of presentations, there will be
substantial opportunity to meet participating companies to explore
their capital needs and the potential for business cooperation."
"The
current downturn in U.S. technology and venture markets is forcing
business and financial professionals to adopt a more global perspective,"
commented Mark J. Lerner, President of Morgen, Evan & Co., Inc.
"For this reason we have selected companies that we believe provide
both the business model and management sensibility that will allow
U.S. investors to capitalize on the superior investment opportunities
emerging as a result of Japan's economic problems."
