Asia Society's "Investing in China's Capital Markets: Where Will WTO-Sparked Reforms Lead?" Conference to be held in N.Y.C. on May 9, 2002


NEW YORK, April 28, 2002 (Business/Financial/Government Editors) -- The Asia Society invites internationally-focused investors, executives, financial and service professionals, journalists and other interested individuals to participate in an in-depth, full-day look at the future of China's capital markets. This event will examine the extent to which these reforms offer opportunities to foreign investors and multinational financial services companies. The conference will introduce New York to some of the leading financial services executives in China, as they join American investors in a discussion about the potential of their markets. This event will be held on May 9, 2002 at the Asia Society (725 Park Avenue at 70th Street) in New York City on Thursday, May 9, from 9:00am - 4:00pm. The cost to attend this event will be $125 for members of the Asia Society and collaborating organizations, $150 for non-members and $75 for accredited academics and members of NGO's.
